With Winter finally over, at least we hope, everyone is looking forward to the long, comfortable days of summer. But with those long days come hot weather. So here are a few points to keep in mind when ordering perishable items online.
Shipping companies like UPS will not guarantee against damage caused to items during such weather. If you are not going to be available when the shipment arrives, be sure to leave a note for the driver as to where he can leave your package. Preferably somewhere out of the heat. It doesn't take long for melting to occur. Especially when you consider that the item may have been sitting in the delivery firm's warehouse or truck for a few days.
Your best option to ensure freshness, is to ask that your items be shipped in special hot weather containers with special "ice packs" that will help keep the items from melting. Many companines, like My Candy Supplier offer these items at a small, reasonable fee. They also usually restrict shippment of such items to Monday and Tuesday to ensure the product is not left setting in a warehouse over the weekend.
If you follow a few simple guidelines, you can receive your orders without much of a delay and as fresh as possible.

Many people were horified to find that the price of candy rose significantly last year. But it wasn't just the price of candy. It was the price of anything made with chocolate. This was because of the wars going on around the coast of Africa. Africa, it turns out, exports a large majority of the world chocolate supply. The wars were preventing the chocolate from leaving port and, as a result, chocolate prices rose around the world. But, in spite of this increase, MyCandySupplier has endeavored to keep prices down and our prices continue to be among the lowest on the Internet.

If you have done a search lately of available online candy stores, you will find that there are hundreds to choose from. So how do you know which ones you can trust? It is amazing how many candy sites there are that do not provide a Privacy policy or even some kind of statement reflecting their return policy. Don't be taken in by these sites. If they are not up front with you in regards to their policies, they may very well be trying to hide deceptive practices.
This isn't to say that all such candy suppliers are trying to hide something. Many are probably just not aware of their site's shortcoming. However, even in those situations, you should make it a point to contact the site owners and ask them what exactly their policies are. Most people tend to be trusting of others and cannot believe that an online store would mislead them. Unfortunately, this is an all too common occurrence.
Look for a store that offers an unconditional return policy, such as at MyCandySupplier. If the candy supplier you are dealing with does not offer such a policy, or if they charge a restocking fee, then you are dealing with the wrong company.
